“Where The Spirit Of The Lord Is, There Is Freedom.”
2 Corinthians 3:17
The Calvary Chapel Jail/Prison/Bridge Ministry is an Outreach to men and women incarcerated or recently released from jail or prison. The scriptures place a major emphasis on setting the captives free, and instruct us to remember those in prison. We remember by visiting, mentoring, distributing books and bibles through the County Jail library, lead various Bibles studies and worship, serve communion and baptize, and in general teach the good news of forgiveness and salvation to thousands who have never heard that Jesus loves them.
In the Bridge ministry we partner with Prison Fellowship in mentoring and empowering people to transition back into their family, church, community and work after incarceration. We are always in need of prayer and more volunteers with a heart to serve people during some of the biggest trials of their lives. Please keep our team in prayer that we will make a difference in the lives of people and in our community, to the glory of God.
