The Media ministry has many positions available for those who are interested in serving.
Positions
Camera Director
In-Person
Camera switching station.
Tasks
Directs the Camera Operators and switches between shots.
Required Skills
Some visual production experience. Give directions clearly. Calvary camera op experience
required. knowaledge in camera work.
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Camera Operator
In-Person
Live operating camera in-house.
Tasks
Following instructions from the Camera director and lining up camera shots.
Required Skills
Attention to detail, some camera experience, and fair eye vision.
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Engineering Support Assistant
In-Person
Maintain campus electronics.
Tasks
Repair non-functioning electronics for support of services. Troubleshoot problems with
equipment hardware/software. New cable run for new and existing devices. Familiarization
of equipment supporting the services.
Required Skills
Some electronics experience.
General Time Commitment
As needed.
Graphics Operator
In-Person
Changes the lyrics and scriptures during the services.
Tasks
Keeps the lyrics in sync with the worship and the scriptures during the message.
Required Skills
Attention to detail, familiarity with computers
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Lighting Operator
In-Person
Changes the lighting during the services.
Tasks
Sets up the lighting for the service. Goes through the lighting ques during service.
Turns on and off the sanctuary Projectors and TVs.
Required Skills
Able to see color. Some computer skills, and good communication skills.
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Online Broadcast Personality
In-Person
Talks to the online congregation before conference sessions.
Tasks
Good personality. Confortable in front of the camera. Easily project and speak clearly.
Required Skills
Clear speaking skills. Presentable appearance.
General Time Commitment
Several hours during conferences.
Online Moderator
In-Person/Remote
Moderate the online chat on Calvary's website, YouTube, and Facebook.
Tasks
Guide the online congregation through text chat in appropriate behavior. Pray with
individuals.
Required Skills
Calm attitude. Good typing speed. Decent spelling and grammar. Clear communication
skills. Comfortable with people. Knowledgeable about the Bible.
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Photographer
In-Person
Take photos with a camera.
Tasks
Capturing a variety of areas, and delivering to the propper destination/personel.
Required Skills
Own personal camera & knowledge in Photography.
General Time Commitment
Main events & some regular services.
Radio Audio Monitor
In-Person
Monitors Reach Radio during services.
Tasks
Makes sure connection between Reach Studio and Media Room is secure and audio levels are
optimal.
Required Skills
Knowledge of chrome Remote Desktop, attention to detail.
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Recording Operator
In-Person
Sets up the Video recordings during the services.
Tasks
Sets up the video recordings during the services. Trims and compresses the videos after
the service.
Required Skills
Basic computer skills.
General Time Commitment
8 hours a month.
Stage Hand
In-Person
Move stage related objects.
Tasks
Moving the pulpit after worship and before the message, helping with other quick stage
turnarounds as needed.
Required Skills
Be able to lift 20 pounds.
General Time Commitment
A few minutes during services and conferences.
Sound Technician
In-Person
Adjusts the audio for the services. Either in house or online or both.
Tasks
Microphone checks for the speaker. Adjust the sound during the worship and message.
Stage set up and striking.
Required Skills
An idea of Gain staging, EQ, Compression, feedback control. Good ear for music and
sound. Able to lift 20 pounds.
General Time Commitment
Wednesday: 1:30pm - 7:30pm on Wed
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Videographer
In-Person
Films video with a camera.
Tasks
Setting up/ tearing down sets in studio; going on location to film; setting up basic
audio needs.
Required Skills
Camera knowlege; basic audio equipment knowledge. Provide some personal work.
General Time Commitment
1-5 hours a project.
Video editor
In-Person/Remote
Edits video.
Tasks
Put together 20-40 second length videos and create intro countdowns.
Required Skills
Knowledge of video editng software. Can tell a story visually. Can meet deadlines.
General Time Commitment
5-10 hours per project.
Website Data Entry
Remote
Add teachings to the website and mobile app.
Tasks
Filling out forms and uploading files to the file storage and content management system.
Required Skills
Computer skills. Attention to detail.
General Time Commitment
2 hours at least each week.
