Lori Arnold

Mission Thrift Manager

Lori was born on the East Coast at Loring Air Force base in Limestone Maine where her dad was stationed and where her mom and her family are from. Shortly after she was born her family moved to California where Lori was raised and met her husband Jim. They have been married for 43 years and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

Lori was raised in a Catholic home and she loved going to church. Her mom told her that’s where God lived and Lori always wanted to be there with Him. Lori first called out to the Lord when she was five and He met her in a very real way.

Looking back Lori can see His hand at work in her life through His leading, guiding, and protection. Even though Lori believed in God she didn’t know how to walk with Him. It wasn’t until they started to attend Greg Laurie’s church in 1980, where Jim got saved and Lori rededicated her life that they began to read the Bible and have been learning to walk with Him together ever since.

Lori and Jim have been in the ministry for many years serving overseas as missionaries and church planters in Scotland and Ireland as well as here in the States. They are currently serving here at Calvary Tucson with an incredible staff. Lori has said she has the privilege of serving alongside her husband Jim in missions as they oversee Mission Thrift together. Mission Thrift is a thrift store Lori and Jim created to help support long and short-term missions. Through all the ups and downs of life and ministry, the one verse Lori rests in is Psalm 31:1.

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust.
